A local dog is being hailed as a hero tonight after carrying a busted R2-series astromech droid over 50 miles across the desert on his back. ”A lot of people are going to say he was just doing what any loyal dog would do,” said a source close to the situation. ”But think about what he did — those R2 units, especially the older models, weigh a ton.
